Top 10 Painted Faces

It's a tradition that has kind of disappeared in the last decade or so, but over the year wrestlers have worn face paint as a way to enhance their gimmick. This is in my opinion the list of the wrestlers that most befitted by using face paint to stand out.

Before we get into the list here is the best of the rest: Raven, Powers of Pain, Papa Shango, The Missing Link, Umaga, and The Headbangers

10. Jeff Hardy-The charismatic enigma often uses different face paints to help get over the fact that he is just that an enigma.

9. Doink The Clown-No mater what wrestler was under the paint the fact is you can not have an evil clown without him wearing clown make up.

8. Vampiro-A huge star in Mexico who had a solid WCW run that unfortunately came at the tail end of the organization.

7. Kamala-The Ugandan giant looked like he was a savage tribesman with the style of face paint he wore.

6. Demolition-They looked like something right of a bondage store, but they were one of the most intimidating teams in the history of the WWF/WWE.

5. Goldust-Any other wrestler besides Dustin Rhodes and this gimmick would have lasted 3 months and we would all be laughing at him, Dustin made it work and has had a solid career playing the bizarre one.

4. The Great Muta-Muta is a legend in both his native Japan and here in the United States. Inspired by The Great Kabuki, Muta took this style and blazed a trail as one of the most innovative wrestlers ever.

3. Legion Of Doom/Road Warriors-The most dominant team in the history of pro wrestling they looked like they came right off of the set of Mad Max and they destroyed any one in their way.

2. Sting-More than anyone Sting is the face of WCW, and I mean that in a good way. Weather it be in his original surfer style look or the Crow version Sting was insanely popular with all of the fans.

1.The Ultimate Warrior-One of the biggest stars of the late 80's the Warrior relied the most on his look to get over. If it wasn't for personal issues and lengthy disappearances he would have been talked about as one of the all time greats.

My Fav 5 09/02/11

My Fav 5 for 09/02/11

5. Daniel Bryan(4)-Bryan has been loosing traction lately, hopefully this is going somewhere.

4. John Cena(2)-Cena has never looked better than he has this summer.

3. Alberto Del Rio(1)-Took the week off to fix some visa issues, I expect for him to come back strong for his big push going into the tour of Mexico in October.

2. Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne(5)-They got a team name, now they need some better contenders to really ignite the tag team division.

1. CM Punk(3)-After falling to 3 last week Punk rebounded strongly with a good match with The Miz and strong segments between himself and Triple H & Kevin Nash.
